Skin Needling

Skin Needling Or Meso Therapy has been used since 1995 and was used to treat post-scaring to release tightening skin tissue from a wound.

Plastic surgeon Camirand used a tattoo gun without ink to take the tension off post-surgical scars.

Skin needling can be performed every 4-6 weeks depending on skin condition.

It is fantastic for scarring ,or to get an overall skin firming for face and neck.

Microneedles are used all over the area to be treated, the skin is very pink after the treatment and can feel a bit like it's, sunburnt.

The effects on the skin are quite remarkable the skin is inflamed for the first day or so and then it gets dry I recommend doing a gentle exfoliant using an enzyme exfoliant is the best ( Nimue Skin Care range has a great one) just wait for 4 days after treatment  then you will see the skin improve in its texture and tightness and pores are greatly reduced

Post-treatment you must avoid harsh skin products such as AHA's, Alpha hydroxy acids, Retinols, Glycolic acids any exfoliants for at least one week.

Avoid chlorinated water, and sweating for the week and the sun, always wear a hat and sunblock .

A reflective skin block is the best.

I use in the salon a Hyaluronic acid serum that improves the healing process and after treatment, you take home a post serum which you use for 4 days.

This serum is a recovery serum that you can use after any skin needling or Fibroblasting treatment.
